The Guest house is just lovely, set over looking the family orchid with views. The facilities were amazing, spotlessly clean and plenty of room everywhere. Lovely covered outside dining, relaxing area. Our room with ensuite was immaculate - everything brand new, great linen, beautiful ensuite and so quiet. Safe and secure gated parking for our rental car. We were made to feel very welcome.

Breakfast was really good with amazing fresh bread rolls and freshly squeezed orange juice. Served in a beautiful breakfast room overlooking the gardens and the orange trees. The hosts made sure we had enough of everything. The whole property was really clean.

The whole place looks newly refurbished and has been decorated with care. The accommodation is very comfortable.
We absolutely loved our stay! Our host Pedro was very kind and told us all about the building's history. The pool was lovely with some toys for kids. Breakfast was great! One of the hosts entertained our fuzzy baby so we could have breakfast in peace, it made us feel very welcome. Although the building has a long history it's been renovated and we had no problems with the cold.
Superbly hosted by the family, the beautifully restored historical property was extremely interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The setting and location are excellent to get around the local area. The warm pool is brilliant for the kids and we all enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning.
The most idilic place in the mountains, so many extras that they offer for free, bedlinen and mattress of outstanding quality and the host super friendly and helpful. You could even pick your fruit on the farm and bicycles were free.
Santiago Family House is a beautiful guest house located north of Coimbra. We were welcomed by the owner and everything was explained to us. The room we got was big and modern. The breakfast was fantastic and had all we needed. Although we didn't try out the pool it looked great and both the pool and garden were well-kept.
Beautiful historical l house, with lovely areas outside to have a good rest. Location is convenient, near main restaurants and shops. Pedro was an amazing host.
