We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in São Vicente! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the stunning northern part of the island. Surrounded by breathtaking views, it was a peaceful and picturesque base for our adventures. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a bit of an updated feel, though some of the showers could benefit from a minor refresh. However, this didn’t detract from the overall experience, as everything was well-maintained and offered a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a charming place with a great location, friendly service, and lovely views, this is the ideal spot!

Beautiful village with great view. Comfortable bed, large sliding panoramic doors in the living room makes you enjoy every minute of it while you inside or outside on the terrace.

What we liked was: cleanliness, nice view, all sorts of little things for a comfortable stay. There is a common pool, we didn't use it, but it looks good. Large space. Towels, blankets, all necessary utensils.

Wonderful house. The house is on the smaller side, but you can find everything you need. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, airconditioning etc. Also there are two terraces that are enable you to relax and bask in the Madeiran sunshine.
The accomodation is very clean and is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea and fruit. There’s no inside kitchen, but outside there is a barbecue and a dishwashing station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised by Nelson as he gifted us fresh fruit like bananas and Madeiran custard apples.
The house is situated in a nice, hilly neighborhood of Funchal. It’s about a 2km ride from the nearest main road exit or reachable by bus. It’s about a 10 minute drive into the city center and also about a 10 minute drive to be in the middle of the nature.
Highly recommend to stay here whilst being on Madeira.

The location, centrally located with easy access to central town but quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. The lovely rooftop which has the possibility of having bbq in Summer. All fabulous facilities, to cook, wash and dry clothes etc.

This is an amazing house. High up in the mountains with incredible views, the photos don't do it justice. Great communicative host. I don't think there are many places like this so I would book it immediately if available.
The villa is beautiful and well thought through with sensational views. It is stylishly furnished. The bathrooms are beautiful and the kitchen is well equipped.The terrace has a day bed to relax and sunbathe. There is a private gate and the area is very quiet but the villa is a short drive to Sao Vicente which has lots of restaurants and a supermarket. There are also great walks nearby. The host was very helpful and responsive during our stay. We would highly recommend it!
I was the second time at Zef’s Chalet. It’s just perfect. Very quiet, beautiful view, absolute privacy, close to the north coast but the south coast is not too far.
The house was super well equipped with everything we could need. We loved how quiet and peaceful the area was, away from city hustle and bustle. The mountain views were lovely. It was also very easy to reach different sites around the island (by car) from the house. Communication with the host was smooth.

Zef’s chalet is outstanding and one of the best properties I have rented. The view to the opposite mountainside of São Vicente is fabulous with afternoon and setting sun on to the terrace and living room. Very quiet and peacful (except for the usual 24/7 barking dogs). The bed is very comfotable and at last I encountered pillows which deserve the name. With two bathrooms, a kitchen with a induction cooktop, nice interiour and others show the quality of the chalet. I felt very comfortable and calm here.
The highlight of the house is hands down the amazing view. We were just astonished by the beautiful landscape that lies in front of you when you enjoy a breakfast or a dinner. The location is quiet, without tourists, but easy to get to by car. The house is well-equipped for a long stay and the check in was very easy.
