At the property welcomed us a nice and friendly guy who showed us around. The property offered parking. The room was tidy clean and modern along with a great communal kitchen.

We liked everything about the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, assisting with taxis and general area information. The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and welcoming. The choices for breakfast were varied and extremely enjoyable. The good sized bedroom was well set out with an excellently equipped bathroom. Both were uniquely decorated. Superb on all levels and hope to return.

We loved the common outdoor balcony with small bar attached that looked out over the country side. The Medieval festival is a must do so stay over night as it goes off on the weekends. Nicely, a lot of the people attending are Portuguese so it has a great ambience and is not too expensive. The accommodation is handy to everything going on but without alot of activity or people. A couple of good restaurants nearby as well as one of the main gates into the old village. Super nice to get breakfast and they served it early so we could catch the bus.

What is there not to like? Beautiful peaceful place... Close to many beautiful places to visit, trees all around you... The sounds, the peace, it is like no other.

I will came back for sure with my sons so they can enjoy the garden, the dog Zumba, and all the peace around you.

Amazing hosts, a very welcoming couple who makes you feel right at home. The house is in the middle of a uniquely beautiful nature. It's garden alone has hundreds of beautiful plants - like a botanical garden. Room and the facilites were flawless, great value overall and one of the best experiences we had lately!
