The property was clean, central to our destination, the Dark Sky Observatory. The Owner was happy and offered us superb advice regarding the visiting of Monseraz Castle. We went to that castle and the owners advice was spot on. It was a fantastic experience and a thumbs up and well deserved full marks for the property and owner. Thank you for a wonderful stay and fantastic breakfast.

Incredibly comfy beds, interesting design, kitchen ready for cooking your food, super clean, spacious and beautiful territory with nice clean pool and great decorations. The house feels cozy and at home. The owners were really friendly and thoughtful. Close to a few small cafés and bars, and a small grocery. I really enjoyed the place, thank you!

lovely garden around property, good sized car park, nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the breakfast room, as other places in Portugal didn't have any such facilities. Host was very helpful, speaks many languages and gave us two excellent restaurant suggestions in nearby village and rung up to make reservations for us. We stayed there in late October so didn't use swimming pool so can't comment on that. You do need own transport to use this place.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nice and cosy guest house / boutique hotel. Simple but nice decoration giving the place a nice feel. Close to the church square, restaurants and other amenities. Free parking in a number of streets nearby. Breakfast was also nice, particularly the fresh orange juice. There was also lactose free milk and some cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon and sausages).
The location was great.
Nice conffy rustic studio located in the downhill of the castle.
Great view and very peacefull and quiet enviroment.
With a excelent tipical portuguese cuisine in the front.
The host was great .
we Will be back.
recommended 100%.
We concur on all the good reviews about this property. The room, surroundings and breakfast area are very well presented. Breakfast offerings are sufficient. Clean and comfortable. The hostess, Rita, is very friendly, welcoming and charming. Highly recommended!
Amazing place, comfortable, quiet, fantastic breakfast, very good host with lots of good advise on restaurants and what to do. High-end details like linen, homemade local specialities for breakfast at an incredible price. I will come back!
We liked the quiet location, which was also close to everything. The room was large and very clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower and a big comfortable bed. Also ample parking on site. It was perfect and the host. We will return because it was a great place.
Lovely hostess, Rita is very warm and welcoming. She gave us plenty of information about the area and sites in the neighborhood worth visiting. Great breakfast, fresh bread, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, homemade cake. Nice and cosy room. Quiet location. Great value for money.
