I was given a small duplex with kitchenette and living room downstairs and bedroom and bath upstairs. It was perfect and there was a large garden. I had tea after my dinner and was left a small cupcake. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding.

Location, amenities were all great room was very spacious, a little noisy in the evenings but it always quieted down for bed.

Great location walking distance from the city centre and cheap to get bolt and Uber taxis to town/airport only around 15mins to town. Nice restaurants in the area and Lidl across the road . Lovely host with great communication on WhatsApp.

We had a lovely stay at Cale guest house. Great location to explore Porto. The family room was large, plenty of space to store luggage. Super king bed and 2 singles for the children, all very comfortable and plenty of pillows:-). Relatively quiet for its central location. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety. Host very helpful and we enjoyed the port on arrival. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect large apartments in quiet part of Portu. Great host - he has been waiting for me patiently for 1,5 hours, when my flight delayed and I couldn't inform him about it. Apartment has all necessary things for a comfortable stay of 2-4 people, and my special thanks for a complimental bottle of a good wine from the host :)
It's not in the city center - about 20 minutes on foot - so you can feel the life of non-touristic Portu and relax from crowded streets (and you can always take a bus).
The building is a pretty charming construction and the room was quite spacious and very clean and quiet. Excellent communication with hosts, it is not very central but quite close to the city centre (walking distance)
