We had a lovely room overlooking the street; there was some noise but nothing too bad and nothing later on in the evening. It had a good shared kitchen and the use of a washing machine. Christina was very helpful.

From the moment we arrived to departing, Flowers and Faces went over and above what we were expecting. The stay was exceptional, all because of the wonderful inviting hostess (and husband) in a beautiful home and with well thought out amenities and decor. Our room on the second floor overlooking the back garden, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, delightful linen and fluffy towels. The hostess provided us with a basket of snacks and tea/coffee and kindly offered to do a load of washing for us as we were on the Portugese Camino. The guesthouse is out of the town centre in a leafy suburb, because of this we saw more of this delightful town. Breakfast was outstanding, there was everything that you could want for a generous start of the day. Highly recommend and would love to return. Many thanks.

Great views. Because we were late and the property was so far away from everywhere, the manager drove me to the supermarket. Would not have eaten without her!

The room initially felt small but I very quickly got used to it as it was so cosy and it felt sublime. There was a small desk that I worked on, internet was speedy and very thankful for the extra heater for the cold evenings closer to winter. The small shared kitchen had everythiing I needed for quick cooked meals. There wasn't anyone there to greet me but the instructions were fool proof and I checked in a couple of hours earlier.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Really charming small hotel. Every detail attended too. Not glam and luxury, but old world charm and quality. Very nice hosts. And it is right in the centre of the town, so everything is in easy reach. Surprisingly - even on a Sunday - the next door church bell wasn’t even bothersome.
The views were the very best part, being so central. Nice furnishings, quiet, comfy beds. This is a lovely apartment space above professional offices and a clock shop.
There is one guest room with bathroom on the floor with the lounge and kitchen then up another flight of stairs to a double room and twin room both having great skylights. This area at the top is what they call 'family room', and is for one group only with bathroom in the middle. The host was very good, you have to call him to get in.

Graciosa guest house has a great location in the center of Ponte de Lima close to the bus station and some cafes. The house has a unique Portuguese decoration style and everything is clean and comfortable. We got a baby crib for our three year old son, which was really nice. Isabel is a good host and gives advice on places to visit, maps etc. We liked our stay here. I would recommend this place especially for adult travelers.
