The property is very beautiful with beautiful trees and plants. It is located in the main city basically up the hill from the marina. There are secure gates on each side of the property and plenty of parking for your car.

We had a wonderful time at Solar de Santo Andre, a great location and very friendly and helpful staff that took wonderful care of us. We enjoyed the great breakfast and Eduarda was helping is with advice and support throughout our week long stay. We would definitely go back in the future.

Great location close to the airport, in the middle of the island so you can access all ( west, north, south, east) the parts of the island easily. You can just check through the window if Fogo mountain is cover by clouds and if it is not you can reach it within 25 mins car drive and enjoy the stunning view! Rui, the host is also very kind, hospitable and helpful. Hope to visit again some time soon!
The host, Claudia, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The apartment complex and the gardens are beautiful. We especially enjoyed the tasty fruits we picked ourselves from the garden. The complex is located in a quiet village in the middle of the island, but close to all the main hikes/attractions/lakes. Only 15-20 minutes from Ponta Delgada. Very recommended.
Quinta das Giesta is a wonderful, quiet property with a beautiful garden and pool. The location is great, just minutes to Ribeira Grande, restaurants and the beach. The rooms were much larger than we expected. They are, in fact, small apartments equipped with all needed for your stay. Our host, Manuel, was amazing. He made us feel at home, showed us around and was very involved and responsive whenever we needed him. We liked the cats, the greenery, the space, the decor...everything! Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!

Great location, not far from Ponta Delgada if you have a car (15 mins). A nice, spacious room in a very quiet house. The bathroom is separate but not shared with other guests. Access to kitchen is given with everything you need. Friendly owner who speaks excellent English and lives on site. Very good communication. Excellent WiFi. Friendly dogs. Very good value for money.
