This is the holy grail. This place is immaculate, great facilities, incredible kitchen set up with everything you.could need and stocked with everything from coffee to oil to garlic to hot sauce- which I have never seen anywhere else. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with wonderful local knowledge. It was so clean. It was warm and dry. The rooftop is beautiful with the best sunset in town. If you get a chance to book the private apartment go for gold it's definitely worth it! Best in Portugal

Senhor Gigi is a charming traditional house and centrally located in the older part of Faro with its cafes and shops. We really appreciated the comfortable beds, bed linen and the spacious bathroom with toiletries and luxurious towels.

I was a little bit dubious to book this as it was very cheap but I couldn’t be happier! The rooms are spacious and very pretty, the kitchen facility is wow as well as the lounge, showers & toilets! They have a little roof top terrace which is a sun trap! We have an evening flight but was allowed to store our cases and still use the facilities until we had to leave for the airport.
I will definitely book this again as the location is so central as well.

Very friendly host Andrea, provided us with everything we needed :) the hotel is in an old building in the city center, very charming and with beautiful accomodations.
Claudia is a great host, passionate about the region. She gave us lots of helpful tips to explore the town and islands. Claudia is really thoughtful and gives you space as you need it. Delicious breakfast with fresh, local produce. Great location. We had such a great stay and would highly recommend.
I can warmly recommend! Extremely attentive host, carefully maintained guesthouse, large and well equipped room, good breakfast. It is located in the suburbs. I did not rent a car, even so access to the city center, train station and ferry is easy: either by the city bus (stops are a few steps away, it does not run on Sundays) or a 25-30 minutes comfortable walk. I come to the Algarve twice a year, I feel at home here and this accommodation made my feeling even better.

Apartment was lovely, stylish, clean. Helena was a great host. Market was amazing. Ate fish the whole time. Bars can be quiet at night, but in the day buzzing. It is early in the season. Weather was lovely.
The apartment is in a great location - close to everything but nice and quiet. Beautifully presented, immaculately clean and with everything a guest could need provided. The host was exceptionally helpful, giving clear guidance on finding the apartment and met us as agreed. He also recommended good places to eat and pointed out some of the local landmarks from the rooftop terrace. Overall, this is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in and we would not hesitate in recommending it to others. We will definitely return for another stay.

1. Ana and Sergio are great hosts. Welcomed us, had cold water in the fridge and allowed us to checkout late due to our late return flight.
2. Next to promenade and the boats to Ria Formosa. Quiet neighbourhood but 5 mins walk from all restaurants and main village hub
3. Spacious modern flat, with all amenities including a/c, balcony and a (small) shared pool. But you don’t need the pool, go to the beaches :)
Very charming guest house, perfectly located in a car-free street in the center of the old town. Walking distance to marina, old market and the ferries to Armona and Culatra. Rose & Gino are the perfect hosts - very charming, flexible and accommodating to the guests’ needs. We LOVED Rose’s homemade breakfast at the roof top terrace with an unhindered 360 view of OLHÃO.
Beautiful guest house. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. Great location, room and bathroom very spacious and clean and with nice balcony where you can see the storks on the church roof. Nice, clean communal dining area with tea & coffee and a fridge. Great rooftop terrace to sit and enjoy the view and the sun. The host, Andreia, was lovely and as it was quiet we got to check in early when we arrived and check out later on day of leaving.
