The host Catarina was a delight, she truly is the star of the property. The house per se is amazing, wonderfully rustic and exceptionally decorated. The pool and the yard are the cherry on the cake.
The hotel is situated nicely. We had a short visit, however we had a lovely time. The place is super neat, clean and quiet. Staff was lovely. The only thing my partner complained about a bit was a firm mattress.
The location is wonderful if you really are after some peace and quiet!

We go often to this place. It is very quiet, with magnificent views of Alqueva,. We also enjoy fantastic sunrises and sunset. The breakfast is very good. Let me add that I am very pick regarding breakfast, since it is my preferable meal of the day. It is my 5th stay over there and breakfast has always been excellent. Fresh fruit, squeezed orange juice, good homemade pastry, etc.
The scenery is breath-taking. Once you enter the facilities you can feel an instant disconnect from the busy day to day life. The facilities and the surroundings are very quiet and you can enjoy waking up to the sound of nature and little ducks that seem to be hosts to the place as well.
Dinner was amazing, portions are very fulfilling and the food is made with visible care.
Big props for the decoration and all detail in the lounge and pools areas.
