Everything was comfortable and as described, they really went out of their way to make our stay great. The city was very cute and we walked down to dinner every night, though parking was easy enough to drive too.

Owner was helpful getting us tickets to Joanna library at the university and gave us a bigger room which was nice as it was raining the night we stayed. It gave us more room to be comfortable when we decided it was to wet to walk around at night. Luis was also very attentive in making sure we got everything we needed at breakfast.

Maria is a wonderful host. A lovely home cooked breakfast was included.
We were hiking the Camino de Fatima, so we did not have a car. Maria offered chauffeur services. She drove us to the grocery store, and drove us from Fatima to Alcobaça for a reasonable fee.

Very nice location, very quiet and clean. Only the stream next to the house will be heard. (this is the water that was used for the mill long ago). Really friendly host, nice scandinavian style deco. Fantastic bed.

This is an extremely comfortable guest house. We enjoyed a modern, spacious, well appointed room with private bathroom. There are tea and coffee facilities available and the breakfast is generous. The pool and jacuzzi are heated and covered. The hosts are extremely friendly and kind, going the extra mile to ensure you have the best stay possible.
