We had a beautiful large room with so much character. It was clean and well appointed. The little kitchen was nice to have for the few evenings we ate in. It was so nice to find a pet friendly place to stay, as I was traveling with my cat.
The breakfast was great! There were a number of choices available.
The host was amazing. She was so kind and caring. She always took the time to greet us and ask if we needed anything. She shared her knowledge on where to shop for items we were looking for. When my husband took ill, her concern was touching and sincere.
We would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed a week and would go back in a heartbeat. It felt like home

When we arrived, the host placed us in Casa da Urze 3 as it was just me and my girlfriend and we did not need the extra bed that Casa da Urze 2 had. We were both still very happy with this! The house was incredibly cute and cosy - had a view over the mountains, a lovely fireplace that we lit every night (and which warmed up the house wonderfully and we had a fresh bucket of logs and pine cones to use every evening), we had a TV where we could pair up with my laptop and watch films, the bathroom was pretty and absolutely clean as well, the kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast that was included was small but filling enough (and we could always ask for an extra bit of bread & etc), the lunch food cooked by the host was delicious, the hosts themselves were very nice and caring and always available, and to finish off, Talasnal is an absolute picturesque gem of a place to come spend a few days in, hiking around through the beautiful natural routes nearby and disconnecting from the busy routine we all feel overwhelmed by from time to time! I will absolutely love to come here again, thank you so much to Casa da Urze and its hosts for this wonderful experience, it was a pleasure!

Amazing place to stay and relax in a beautiful village! Apartment is equipped with everything you need, beautiful terrace with BBQ zone. Private terrace with lemon tree and flowers, you will enjoy. Very peaceful village with river, river just 10 meters out of the apartment. Great location- close to supermarket and to the river. Owners are very helpful - thank you and good luck!!! At the end of the holiday I booked relaxation and rest. I found it here in the hotel. The village is small and quiet. The hotel is cozy and has everything I need. The pool is very clean and for breakfast there were fresh fruit salad and croissant. The furnishing is very loving.

Beautiful house in a small quiet village
House has been refurbished to a very high standard.
Excellent outdoor cooking facilities loved the wood fired oven and bbq
There's is also a wood fire stove in the kitchen that heats the open plan kitchen lounge/dining area.
The host left some fire wood for us to use that was enough for our stay.
There is parking at the village entrance on the road and is a very short walk the property (don't try to drive to the property as its very narrow paths)
Peacefulness. Comfortable mountain hut. Great hosts. Good breakfast, not too mention unexpected village party and feast. Nice walking round tour around the villages.
The host was so nice to us and even gave us some cookies. The house is very charming and well decorated! It's like a little retreat. We were a little late on the arrival but they were really cool on that :)
