The place, its location and views are fabulous. Manuela went out of her way to welcome us and once again, we felt like home in our Douro valley trip. Also our dog Luna felt super relaxed in this place. We had morning rural walks with the view of Freixo de Espada a Cinta village and they enjoyed great breakfast Manuela prepared for us. Couldn't have asked for a better ending of our Douro trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in the Quintas largely due to the beautiful accommodations at Casa das Quintas. It was a welcoming refuge at the end of busy days exploring the region. The location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was gracious and kind. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

Great apartment in a wonderful town. We were a group of 6 and we were very comfortable in the apartment. Paulo was a great host, very friendly and welcoming, and spoke English well. And the price was very reasonable.
lovely location overlooking the Douro river. Clean and comfortable with a excellent breakfast included. We didn’t use the spa facilities. Very quiet and a very comfortable bed.
the views from this property were simply stunning ....looking from hilltop above town of Freixa down into the valley and across the border into Spain. View from the external terasse and bedrooms on valley side are stunning. Hostess is very friendly, excellent English, she also speaks French as I heard her conversing with French and Belgian guests. Her daughter, a student, was also helping and was charming. There is also a pool.
Loved the place, great location and views surrounded by beautiful nature and traditional villages, tasty breakfast that even came topped with the Christmas cake and freshly squeezed orange juice, very comfortable room & bed and super friendly and helpful hosts! Also the infrared sauna and jacuzzi were a nice extra. Our dog also loved it. Had such a great time, thank you! Will definitely return.
