The staff were very welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. The view from our window of the castle was amazing! The breakfast buffet was most delicious. The location is convenient-we are at a great restaurant across the street, walked to the castle and to the main square.

The owner's availability and kindness are noteworthy. I enjoyed the quietness and privacy provided by the Villa we stayed in. Lots of space for kids to wander around, swim, play and ride bikes worry free. Being able to dine outside and make your own bbq is also quite enjoyable. It's a good option for resting with kids, very close to the nearby village where you can stock. Wifi in the common areas is quite capable, handling streaming without hiccups. Late afternoons are most enjoyable outside surrounded by trees and... silence. The night sky is awesome, as there is little light pollution. Coming back to the owner, his passion about the place shows, and good conversations (in a non-intrusive way) are guaranteed. The photos are accurate, therefore know what you're getting, and try it out.

It is a beautiful and comfortable historical boutique hotel with a great location, a good environment, impeccable cleanliness, and excellent staff/owners. This is a great place for singles, couples, and families as many amenities exist, such as ping pong, fuzzball, pool table, and an outside pool.

We just finished an amazing 3 night stay at The Place Evoramonte! These accommodations sit high on a hill right next to a castle… and the view is spectacular!
Mitch and Vicki were such wonderful hosts. They meet our every need. The included breakfasts were delicious… fresh squeezed juice, variety of coffees, cooked to order eggs and omelets plus a variety of of cheeses, meats, breads and more. Dinners were available and we enjoyed every selection… especially the pizza. I’m going to let the pictures help tell the story.

The breakfast was very good. Our hostess Sonya was very helpful and very kind. She went above and beyond to ask questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Sonya put together a nice breakfast for us. This is a traditional Portuguese home with many of the older, traditional antiques and decor which we love.
Just a 2-minute walk from Convent of the Congregados and 500 yards from Statue of Queen Saint Elizabeth, Residencial Carvalho features accommodations in Estremoz, with a shared lounge.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Vicki and Mitch were the most gracious and welcoming hosts! The breakfast was superb, as were the dinners we ate there! The accommodations were clean, comfortable and next door to an amazing castle! What can’t be described in words was the most magnificent, never-ending views that go on forever! As visitors, we were very well taken care of, given great advice on what to experience in the area and would most certainly love to go back!
This place is like a fairytale. You drive into the castlewalls and from you room you have the most amazing views. Also the hosts were absolutely the best.
Everything about The Place is superb. The location, the accommodation and the hosting by Vicki and Mitch is exceptional.
The views from the all the different terraces were stunning and the sunsets unbelievable.
We loved the location within the walls of Evoramonte Castle. Our room was charming and comfortable. The hosts, Vicky and Mitch, were welcoming, informative and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was also available. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony to watch the sunset with dinner. Free car parking was available a 1 minute walk away. We would hghly recommend The Place at Evoramonte.
Vicki and Mitch were wonderful hosts, and the place is breathtaking! would definitely recommend as a stop to explore the area, or as a quiet getaway to relax
