We had the most amazing stay at Casa do Poço. The house is huge, clean and very comfy, stocked with everything you might need. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine. We did a tour of the vinyard with the owner, it was great to learn more about how a family vinyard runs and the wine is delicious! We came with our 6 month old, who was very well catered for. Cannot recommend this place more! We hope to be back!

The Quinta is set in a beautiful location, it’s easier to arrive by boat as the roads are very narrow, uneven and with a lot of pot holes. The food is home cooked and excellent, very friendly and efficient staff too. We loved our few days here, Joana and her team made us very welcome and we were able to see their winemaking in progress.

The staff were amazing and everything was dome with such care. A beautiful place, not busy, great scenery, a lovely restaurant and our room was lovely too. Staff super helpful, would recommend to anyone wanting a very quiet chill away from the noise of it all!
This is an absolutely superb spot overlooking the Douro! It is perfectly secluded and quiet. The host looked after us very well and made us feel welcome and at home. We highly recommend this destination.
The views from every room over the Douro Valley are spectacular, makes you want to just curl up in a chair and sit and stare at it.
