My only problem is I am allergic to cats. It really wanted to be with us inside and wanting food. The little dog was friendly and well behaved. We were very happy to be given a good fee at the last minute as we had to leave the already booked accommodation because it suffered serious rain flooding inside from a sudden storm.

The cottage is clean and airy, retaining its character in a historic rural town. Very relaxing place for a quiet holiday, in easy reach of the castle at Almourel and the tourist attractions of Tomar.
Constancia is a quiet, pretty little village and it was a pleasure to stay there in such a lovely guest house. Paulo our host was fantastic and even took us on a little walking tour. The guest house was lovely, clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was great and far more than we could eat. I highly recommend staying here if you just want to take some time out and relax. We always stay here when we visit Constancia. It is right on the main square, so it is close to the nice restaurants and cafes. It is very quiet so you always get a good nights sleep. It is well equipped and has everything you need. It is always a great pleasure to meet the host Luis and have interesting talks about Constancia and many other things as well. We will be back again.

Quiet, unique and truly pleasant stay. The property is beautiful and very charming, feels very authentic. The pool area is perfect for sunny days, as it is sheltered, there is no wind and the pool is very refreshing. We had fun playing ping-pong, swimming in the pool and relaxing in our beautiful suite.
The breakfast was fantastic, fresh bread and fruit and they offer to make bacon and eggs as you wish. And freshly squeezed orange juice!
The service was great form check-in to check-out and in between when we needed help.
The location is great being on the main square and is close to the local restaurants and facilities. The house is well equipped and spacious and gets plenty of natural light. There is always plenty of parking nearby and at night the house is quiet so you get a good sleep. We have been visiting Constância for more than 15 years and Luis is a great host, always wanting you to have a wonderful stay and is full of local knowledge and advice.
