A charming old-world hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable. The free wifi worked well. I was particularly impressed that they provided gluten-free bread for my breakfast, when all I'd asked was whether they had gluten-free options in their breakfast offerings.

We loved our stay at casa Penafalcão! The location was awesome right next to a beautiful creek.. very quiet and pretty village. The house itself was fantastic, cozy, clean and all amenities provided (even food in the pantry and some welcome cakes in the kitchen). Well done to the hosts of casa Penafalcão! a trully enjoyable experience and we will certainly come back and stay again soon!
Great location overlooking the city but a long way from the old city centre
Nice balconies in the room. Bar area and terrace very pleasant. Good buffet dinner plenty of choice.
Location was in the city centre. We were in room 305, quiet and away from the street and had a view of the castle from our balcony. Comfortable beds. Both toilet and bidet.
Breakfast was buffet and had wide range of options and was included in price. Both lunch and dinner available in the hotel restaurant, good quality and reasonable prices.

This is THE location if you're staying in Castelo Branco. I couldn't ask for more. Shops, sightseeing, tourism all on our doorstep. I would 100% recommend this accommodation.
Clean, quiet (apart from world Cup roars 🤣🤣). The price for our 3 night stay was excellent. Was able to leave our luggage in a safe place as we were too early for check-in. Host was so helpful. Would so love to return to this location. Thank you so much.
