Everything was lovely, the hosts are great, very nice and lovely people. They gave us all important information about the area and made our stay really memorable.

Castelo Guest House offers an unbeatable view, with the beautiful Carvoeiro beach and cliffs right outside the window. The staff were extremely friendly. During our stay, it happened to rain, but they provided us with many rainy-day travel suggestions, such as visiting museums, wineries, and castles. Thanks to their recommendations, we had the chance to explore the castle in the charming town of Silves.
The rain came and went during our stay, and the cushions on the balcony chairs got wet. The staff quickly provided spare cushions, allowing us to enjoy the stunning view during the rare moments of sunshine. The indoor common area (the lobby) is quite small, but each room has a balcony where guests usually have breakfast. There are also two chairs next to the reception desk, which made for a comfortable spot to do some work on winter mornings. Housekeeping was done daily, keeping the room clean and tidy.

The estate is immaculate, luxurious, and an overall beautiful ambience. There’s a pool, an out of tune piano, and a billiards table for entertainment purposes. The street the estate is on is quiet, pleasant, and easy to find and access. Breakfast was great with its presentation and decent array of foods.

The room was quite comfortable, especially the bed as well as both arm chairs. The shower was also great. So was the location as it was nearby other points of interest of the Algarve coast.
Two other hosts that worked during the week could speak English and were very nice and professional. We could get a set of two beach towels and drinking water refill. We were offered to take anything from the kitchen at any time and especially for our journey back home to Italy.

Staff was very friendly and kind. The location is a good spot and pleasing. About a 20 minute walk to the beach or 5-10 minute drive to the beach. AC in the room. There is a shared refrigerator and you can hang your wet clothing upstairs (top roof). There is parking reserved at the front of the hotel and side shoulder.

The room had everything that we needed, it was exceptionally clean and the outdoor area was lovely. Carla was a great host, and nothing was too much trouble. Great location within easy reach of everything. We would definitely stay again.
The appartment was well located, just a few min walk down to the city centre. Lovely views , with the different choice of balconies in function of the day progress and wind direction, which made staying here even more enjoyable. It was well equipped and very tidy. Filip was a great host with good communication ensuring our every need.

We loved the peace and quiet of the location but also the fact that it was only a 5 minute walk to lovely restaurants and the beach. It was comfortable, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Andy was a great host and always responded to any queries immediately. The welcome pack of bread, wine, beer, eggs and fruit was very much appreciated! The rooftop terrace was a real bonus for sunbathing and doing my Qi Gong practice, it also had a barbecue.
Our room was large with a good sized seating area and a balcony with tow chairs, a table and a drying rack for our laundry. there was a bar fridge in the room and plenty of storage for our clothes as well as a safe. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach and downtown Carvoeira yet in a quiet area with a ravine behind. Lots of parking. A generous breakfast with fresh fruits, cold meats, cheese, several pastries, specialty coffees from a machine, yogurt, cereals, eggs upon request and always a freshly baked cake.
The location is excelent for the beach, but not excelent for the city center. A 30 min walk will get you there. Also the host was nice and very accomodating. It felt very quiet. I am sure that a room with view over the beach makes the experience more pleasurable.
The guest house has the most amazing host! We were upgraded to an apartment so I can’t speak to the rooms in the guest house, but the pool, outdoor space and communal facilities were everything we could have hoped for and more. The guesthouse is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the centre of Carvoeiro, so even though there’s no parking there was no need for a car and taxis were very cheap if we wanted to travel further afield.
