Casa do Avô Horácio was absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. Firstly, it was a long walk that day, and we decided to finish by bus. Before we boarded the bus, who should arrive but Haoácio himself, to pick us up and drive us to his casa in Carreço, a great little town. (No idea how he knew it was us) We were truly grateful for his kindness! Upon arrival, while doing the ususal passport paperwork, we sat at a beautiful patio with jams made from his quince tree, and an array of snacks with drinks and water for us. An unbelievable welcome! After being introduced to his place, an amazing home where Horácio had grown up, we were shown his amazing gardens and our beautiful rooms. The home was immaculately clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Immediately, I realized we should have booked two days at such an amazing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed his gardens and pool. It was indeed the best place we stayed during our whole camino! Horácio is an amazing host, THE BEST! He is pleasant, very kind and helpful, and does everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. We were right on the Camino making it easy the next day, but he made absolutely sure we knew where to go. He is indeed an incredible host. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Correço, and truly hope to return one day. Thank you, Horácio for your kindness. You are an exemplary host, and we appreciate everything.

The property is located near the historic center. The accommodation was clean and modern. The manager was very accommodating to our needs. We stayed here for about a month and found it very comfortable. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Interesting walking area with lots of little side streets to explore. Great value for money.

This has been my favorite accommodation on the Camino so far. Horacio is a very great host! He made me feel very welcome, offered any help he could give after a long day on the Camino. He is really happy to be hosting pilgrims and it felt a bit like home away from home for one night. I loved it there.
Had difficulty finding a place in this area but this o e was exceptional. Isabel was a great host, and provided tremendous assistance including helping us wash cloths and having an early breakfast
The places is 10min walk away from the Carreço beach - we loved going there as it was very quiet and never crowded, a well hidden gem ! The host is accomodating and nice, check in/out were easy, bed is comfy, we did not have to share the bathroom after all and the small balcony is a nice plus. We did not spend a lot of time inside, but we slept great !
Fabulous accommodation and location at a super price. The owner is a great host and shared his knowledge of the establishment and area with us which we most appreciated.
