We highly recommend this accommodation. It is basic but it is clean and safe. If you drive a car, the parking is available right next to the house (a beach front parking). If you do not have a car, there is a bus station few steps from the house the bus will take you to the metro station that is directly to Porto in 45'. Also, you can take uber or bolt taxi from this house to the metro station that is about 3 Euro or so.

I really liked that you could use the central areas like the kitchen and the garden. The room was also nice and spacious.

The place is quiet, peaceful - nothing happens here out of season. You have a beautiful, sandy beach and ideal conditions for walks in nature. You can easily reach the larger city, where you will find more shops and restaurants, on foot. Cheap Ubers make travel easier. There is a 10-minute walk to the stop where there are trains.
Nearby there is a restaurant by the beach, also open in October, where you can eat very good pizza.
A recently renovated property, Guest House Da Mata3 is situated in Póvoa de Varzim near Pontes Beach, Fragosinho Beach and Lagoa Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace.

Lovely home providing bed and breakfast right on the camino. We had a very comfortable room with a huge bathroom. Very clean and well maintained property. Gardens and pool area are lovely. The host can provide dinner for 22 euros. She also offered massage. The breakfast is good. There is a bar/cafe about 100m from the property that is open until 8pm.

I like the hostess, Belmira, she was so friendly & nice. Place was clean & homely. She even offered us laundry with no extra charges.
If you need a good massage, her husband Edgar, gives good professional massage!
She offered to cooked dinner for us (super cheap!), it was delicious! Breakfast was packed for us, so much (enough for lunch too!)

Beautiful property located on Camino with refreshing pool after a hot day of walking. Welcoming and friendly host, who provided a communal dinner (added cost) and boxed breakfast for early risers. Room was so clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
I had the most beautiful view of countryside from my bedroom window and the pool below. This really is a special place to stay and has a lot of character. The hostess is very friendly and warm and did everything to help. You can have dinner here in the evening too outside in the wonderful garden.
This is a great hostel to stay at on the Camino! Very relaxing, we had a lovely swim in the pool when we arrived and had an awesome dinner too, as we were too tired to walk anywhere. Great value for money and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful! Really awesome stay!
