Wonderful house. The house is on the smaller side, but you can find everything you need. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, airconditioning etc. Also there are two terraces that are enable you to relax and bask in the Madeiran sunshine.
The accomodation is very clean and is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea and fruit. There’s no inside kitchen, but outside there is a barbecue and a dishwashing station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised by Nelson as he gifted us fresh fruit like bananas and Madeiran custard apples.
The house is situated in a nice, hilly neighborhood of Funchal. It’s about a 2km ride from the nearest main road exit or reachable by bus. It’s about a 10 minute drive into the city center and also about a 10 minute drive to be in the middle of the nature.
Highly recommend to stay here whilst being on Madeira.

Amazing views, very quiet and peaceful. Our very kind host phoned round restaurants when we arrived late to make sure we could get a booking. He picked an excellent restaurant. The Villa was extremely comfortable. Everything was provided. We will definitely return. The island is increadible and the people the friendliest we’ve encountered.
The house was beautiful, perfect setting, views were incredible and the facilities were amazing. Everything was there that we needed. Area was so quiet and peaceful. Although we were not met on arrival, the host kept in contact to make sure everything was OK.
We had an incredible week stay here in June. The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The location is the sunniest area on the island and we enjoyed spending time relaxing in the stunning, peaceful outdoor area. Comfortable beds, powerful shower and great host. Some fab restaurants and bars nearby, in particular Calheta Green and Pukiki cocktail bar.
Some mention the road, in the scheme of roads in Madeira, it's pretty standard. Just get a small, powerful car.

It really felt like paradise, the location is ideal to go on hikes and explore the island while still enjoying the peace of a quaint location (walkable distance to a small super market and close by car to some larger towns with shops, doctors,...). The house is fully equipped, spacious, clean and tidy - ideal to come to and relax after a day of walking. The stunning views from our terrace were a highlight for us.
If you are searching for peace and quiet then it is perfect place. Also, house is very well organized - the kitchen has everything you need, there is a lot of space for luggage, large bedroom. We received something to eat every day. Host was super friendly and the house was cleaned each day.
Of course, as I think in 80% locations in Madeira you need a car there. Nobrega is in great location for seeing the west side of the island.
If you like peace and quiet places with a beautiful view of the ocean, then there is no need to wonder, this house is the perfect solution. The host is very kind and polite, and the contact with him is very good. The house was very clean and fully equipped. As a welcome we received a bottle of wine, very good fresh fruit and eggs, which was very nice. We will definitely come back here again. We recommend 100%.
