Even though it was very cold some nights, the heater worked well and the bed was comfortable. Was clean as well. It's located in a good spot and was easy to walk to other places. The cafe serves a good breakfast and they are very fast in serving despite being full of customers.

Lovely little oasis in an excellent location for exploring Castro Verde. Easy check in and as it wasn’t busy we had a choice of rooms. We had a good place to park our bikes and hang some laundry and even though the pool was chilly, we had a quick dip. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was a thoughtful spread at a communal table although it was just the four of us. Some cat noise during the night and an early rooster next door but that’s why I travel with earplugs. Very friendly and helpful hosts Filipa and Andrea.

The property was incredibly clean and modern. An old building but very tastefully renovated, with excellent material choices. The host/owner Ricardo was also incredibly polite and easy to communicate with and made us feel incredibly welcome before we even arrived at the property. Every hotel/guest house can learn a thing or two from Casa de Igrejja. Highly recommended!
Great location, close to a nearby lake that you can see from the patio of your bungalow. Comfy beds, a very spacious dining/living room and a very well equipped kitchen. The breakfast is amazing and our hosts were very friendly! Highly recommended for a family escape in the Portuguese countryside!
Cheap high quality room, well equipped especially considering the price. Had a super comfortable bed. The host was really nice and welcoming, breakfast was good and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. If you're looking for a nice rural place to stay for a while, this is a great choice
