The property was very clean, the surrounding area is very calm, the breakfast (toast with egg for vegetarians) was basic but good, the staff was very nice and helped with every question.

I had a great stay at Casa Aureola. It's a beautiful villa with only 2 or 3 guests (I even had the house alone). The villa is on the frontline to the beach and during the night you can hear the waves. It has a very big and well equipped kitchen which is connected to the living room with a beautiful balcony. When I had breakfast here I could watch the sea (see foto 1) The internet connection was available in all the rooms and even at the beach. The house is owned by a Philippine family who gave me the feeling being their private guest. I can't understand at all the negative review given here by one guest.

Good air con. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Owner was very nice and even drove me to my other hotel after Gomez was fully booked when I wanted to extend. 50 php tuk tuk from port. 20 mins or so walk to central. Free water available.

The outside looks a bit uninviting, more commercial looking but that all changes as soon as you walk in. Excellent staff with cheerful smiles very efficient, a lift, lovely dining area, all fresh and clean. Limitless hot and cold fresh drinking water. Comfy bed. AC a little noisy. Hot shower fluffy towels.
The hotel arranged a car for us but couldn't guarantee it fully comprehensive insurance so we sourced one off the Internet. Apparently (do check) a new car is always fully comprehensive to it's first 3 years. A short ride up to road(15p PP jeepney) was a food court (Hideout) good food but musicians on every night were good but a little loud for us oldies. A little further the Island village shopping Mall had everything you could need (including Banks and ATMs) . Adjacent to the mall was the Dao bus terminal which serves quite a lot of the island.

Great stay. Lovely property once inside. Nicely located on the outskirts of the city- handy if you have transport like a motorbike. We went to see the Tarsiers and chocolate hills from here and it was very convenient . friendly housekeeper was so helpful.

Very good value for money. The room and the bathroom is enough large, very clean, the terrace is nice bonus. There is a possibility to do laundry for free. The beds are ok, the pillows could ne better. The staff is super kind.

Everything! It was a bit far from Alona beach but its fine. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the resort. Loved the food! We actually preferred it over the food we had outside. They also pack sandwiches for you for breakfast in case you have to go early for an activity and umable to have it at the resort.

it was very spacious and clean with LOTS of light coming in through the full-height windows/slide-doors.
I slept like a baby with open slide door and window enjoying the pleasant ocean breeze, didnt need the AC at all! sometimes there is less wind and these were the nights when I dreamed of a fan.

The staff are fantastic, so lovely and friendly. Queenie is in charge and she made sure everyone had all they needed and was the perfect host.
The rooms are clean and tidy, the pool area is really nice and the pool is deceptively deep in a good way.
Everyone loved the food, and the drinks are a reasonable price, make sure you try the filipino traditional stuff!
Location was good too, we found a great korean nearby for variety, tuktuks are cheap to get you anywhere you want to go.
Very nice people who are super friendly and always ready to look after their guests needs. The hostel is in a beautiful location by the ocean river, quiet and serene, surrounded by nature.You can swim and kayak in the river. I love that the beds are super comfortable and also each bed has shelves for your belongings, your own sockets, reading light, and fan as well as curtains to allow you privacy in a dorm setup. Kitchen is well equipped and more than usable. Free coffee and water all day. Highly recommended for digital nomads like me!
Great place to stay - friendly hosts, great room, good bathroom and very clean. Has a nice outside area and even a jacuzzi. Free water available and a little mini bar with cheap drinks and beers you can buy. We really enjoyed our stay here :)
We have stayed here for 2 nights in the end of December 2023. The stay itself was just perfect. The guest house is located in quiet place, but not far from everything, you can rent a bike from the owner to get around. The room is clean and contains everything you need for staying, and the owner is extremely helpful in any requests you have. It was really above all the expectations!
We stayed in this property for 4 days with my partner and our extended family. What we loved: 1) this charming boutique hotel is new and modern, 2) only limited number of rooms (unlike some of the bigger hotels at Alona) which meant it was far more peaceful, 3) rooms were spacious and clean, 4) good food at the restaurant at reasonable prices, and 5) as for what really stood out for us: the staff were incredible - very kind, helpful and truly customer oriented.
A newly built property in a great location, 300 meters from the main road. Very quiet neighborhood. The facility is modern, with a great vibe. It has a large restaurant, nice bar with delicious drinks at good prices. The breakfasts are big and tasty. Good coffee as well.
The standard of the room is a 4-star hotel. All new, good quality. Incredibly comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, clean and cozy.
Last or not the least, friendly owners and polite and helpful staff.
