We would not have survived our night if we had not booked accomodation, by the time we got to Carson’s place, we were exhausted and went to bed right away. It was a 10 minute drive from the airport, and was perfect for a sleep then catch the ferry in the morning. Carson is a great host, and called the taxi for us, we were very happy with the stay.

Everything was excellent. The owner welcomed us in a very warm and friendly manner, was always available, and provided us with every possible service. Additionally, we had dinner with him and his wife, which was an excellent experience. The food was of outstanding quality, all organic and fresh. The service was top-notch. The accommodation was clean and beautiful with plenty of space for four of us. There's also an exceptional view out to the ocean. The area is safe and quiet and only a short drive into town.
The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality and kindness to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We would 100% recommend a stay at Villa Taina.
Perfect self contained accommodation. You'll want transport but a great location outside the traffic hassle of Papeete. Shops a minute drive away. 4kms to Carrefours & McDonalds. A great beach 4km the other way. Close enough to airport and capital with transport. Wifi perfect. Ted a great host and very responsive via WhatsApp. Highly recommend.
A gem find. The architecture of the free standing cabin is very interesting, but above all it's very charming. The solutions to water runoff are very impressive on such a steep lot. Nice theme throughout. views from the pool patio and the garden swing are beautiful. Hosts very discrete (we just heard them entertaining on their own patio but they stayed reasonably quiet and we did not get to meet them during this stay). The sink and fawcet fawcet in the bathroom are quirky and very neat.
