The hosts were friendly and provided a good home feeling to all guests. The food was also some of the best I had while traveling in puno (it was very healthy and delicious). Lastly, they went out of their way and helped me when I had lost something... overall, very happy to have stayed here!
Richar and his family are wonderful people and hosts. Lucresia is a great cook; she cooked us the best meals. Richar showed us around and we hiked around the beautiful island of Amantani. It really feels like a family. The rooms were very clean and the shower had hot water. Tea, coffee and drinkable water are provided as well. The house is located in Ocosuyo, you can get there with a motorcycle or enjoy everything by hiking there (best to pack light if possible). We would definitely come back.

It is a wonderful place to relax and go for walks in the amazing nature with a beautiful view over the lake. It is so peaceful and we loved beeing here to calm down. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitively recommend this place.
José Luis and Pilar are great hosts. We spent a wonderful night in their home on Amantani island. Their home is very nice and has a superb view over Titikaka lake. Pilar is an amazing cook and we had a chance to taste her delicious dishes. José Luis and Pilar, thank you very much for the pleasant stay. Henry and Mariluz are amazing hosts. Their house is very confortable with a nice view of the lake. The food is delicious and is cooked by the family using vegetables harvested from their own garden.
On June is the best time of the year to see the stars and the Milky Way. The view is marvellous!!
If you arrive by your own, ask for the guest house of Henry at the Inkatiana comunity because google maps does not work in the island. Also is good to know that the ferries to the island depart once a day at 7:30am from Puno's main port.
All the comments that I was reading before about this place were true ;) the place was amazing, the hosts were amazing and the food was incredible..it is worth it, the best choice, we had a great vegan food, better than in any restaurant and the owners were extremely nice. Our room was very clean and quiet.
