My favorite hotel in Iquitos - I stayed here repeatedly and I've always enjoyed my stay very much. My room was really big and comfy, and it even had a private fridge, which definitely comes handy. I really liked the common areas as well.
The owners and the staff are super nice and friendly, they even let me store my luggage when I was going to the jungle for few days.
The area is nice, close to the main plaza, there are restaurants and supermarkets around. As a solo female traveler, I felt perfectly safe in the area.

The room was basic with simple furnishings, and was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. Bathroom was clean and very spacious.
The staff, Juanita, was very welcoming and accommodating. My luggage was lost by the airlines and I needed to print a form from email.Juanita took the time to escort me a couple of blocks down the street to a place that could help me. Juanita was a great host and very attentive.

They organized transfer from and to airport for us.
They assist us with finding a shop with rubber boots on Belen market.
They stored our luggage for 4 days for free.
View from our room was amazing.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Big rooms, nice charming hotel, comfy beds, nice common areas including an upstair first floor lounge area with a balcony and view on the river. Rooms are quiet (but without windows). Location is very good. Staff very nice.
Great Hostel near the center of Iquitos. Helpful and friendly owner named Chip and very happy to share his knowledge about the city and its surroundings. The room I booked was huge with a fridge, TV, AC AND one of the best view onto the 'bay' which leads onto the amazon.
It was worth the money and very clean
Simple room
We had a fast and easy communication with our host, he was here for everything quiet fast :)
They offered some cheap and good jungle tours (attention-very touristic!! But something you should expact if you book a tour... so nothing that surprise us)
Great value. The cleanest accommodation I have experienced in Iquitos. The rooms are clean and spacious, the kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is a delight.
The host is a pleasure to get to know and she is extremely helpful.
Relatively quiet area well off the main road. I would highly recommend Otorongo guesthouse.
It was a great pleasure staying at Otorongo Guest House. Gabi is a fantastic, friendly and very supportive host. The area is quiet and in-between the city center and the airport. I can fully recommend it and when coming back to Iquitos I will definitely stay there again.
Karin is a super nice great host, who makes lovely breakfast and adapts everything so that you have a perfect stay. It's not in the center, but in a quiet safe neighboor-hood. I felt safe there and you have everything you need. If you don't know what to do, just ask Karin she know all things to do and is always happy to help out and even send you whatsapp messages to make the best out of your stay. She is a little jem.
