Our room was huge and amazing. The grounds were historic and beautiful. We felt like we were staying in a castle. WIFI was fast and consistent. Great neighborhood, safe, and easy walk to central Plaza. We liked it so much we extended our stay.

Ali/Alejandra, one of the owners, who is the one who speaks English and German. She was so patient and compassionate when my bus from Nazca was awful and I was so motion sick and then the bus was 2 hours late, keeping her up until 2 a.m. Take some time to talk with her and ask to hear some of her stories. It will enhance your experience and understanding of Peru. She is wonderful.
It's inside a courtyard and away from the street, so it was quiet. Yay!
If you can't get hot water and think it's gone, turn off that knob and switch to the other one, ignoring that you think one is cold and one is hot. They have 2 solar tanks and if one is cold, the opposite knob will give you hot water from the other tank.
Good, affordable price!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This is a gorgeous boutique hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. There’s a beautiful view from the terrace where you can grab a drink and watch the volcano Misti as the sun goes down. The restaurant was lovely also. We had an early wake up call and the hotel provided a great breakfast box. The location is slightly out of the city center but this is probably a benefit because it’s very quiet. We had a great stay here and look forward to returning.
Great location, great hosts, they let us leave our bags in the room after checkout and even let us use the room later on the day to shower etc. Shower was good with warm water, beds were fine (I have slept better, but also way worse^^) and for a good price. On saturday there was some music outside though, for quite long, so maybe not the best day if you are not a 'solid sleeper'. But overall I definitely would recommend.
Great Hostel, sweet patio & common area, super sweet & helpful staff! Great beds, comfy! Hot showers, super cool rooms. Free tea all the time & great location. Definitely great for the price!
A great hostel that deserves the praise that others have written about it. Fantastic owners who go far and beyond what they are required to do. Nice upstairs chill area. Very strong and stable Internet which has become sadly a rarity in Arequipa the past year (I have been in and out of Arequipa for a few years). The local market across the street is actually mush bigger than the one tourists visit near the city center. Safe neighborhood and the historic center is walkable.
great location - quiet residential street only a few minutes walk away from restaurants and shops, and very close to the historic centre. Room was immaculate, bed extremely comfortable, room cool. The hosts were excellent, helped us out by making an early breakfast for us to get to our flight. Roof top terrace with insane views to have breakfast, relax or play pool. cheap laundry service, was completed very quickly. really couldn’t fault it, great place for couples
A really quiet and peaceful hostel in a great location near the plaza. The 6 bed female dorm was comfortable. The main lady running the hostel is very lovely and helpful. Breakfast and laundry service were both great. Check in/out times are flexible to fit in with 24hr bus schedules.
small family run hostel, really friendly people, quiet area at night, but still close to the city center and the shopping street, great view over the city from the rooftop terrace, unbeatable value for money.
Tip: ask for the double room on top
Amazing staff, Incredibly helpful. Great bar and restaurant, and we loved the garden on the other side of the hostel. So quiet and beautiful. The location is great. Close to the city centre and Nice restaurants. We also really recommend doing the 2 day colca tour hike. Michael from the hostel can help you and gives great advice!
