The caretaker Ektheir is a star! He is friendly, knows everything about the town and surroundings and he is very helpful. It has a B&B vibe and Ektheir is a super great host!

Salem was a great host. He's very open, kind and caring. He took us to see the bioluminescent plankton in the sea, and drove around with us to find lost baby turtles on the road. We booked a tour with him on his boat to see dolphins and turtles, and go snorkeling which was a very nice experience as well. Besides that, the guesthouse has everything you need. We could even make use of the washing machine. It's a great place with good vibes!
Clean and comfortable room, quiet location near the sea, good dinner with fresh fish BBQ. But the real plus of this accomodation is the host Salem, who really makes the difference and does his best to make you feel at home!
The Guesthouse was very inviting; the room was spacious. Breakfast was very good and the host was very friendly. We were Lucky to be able to witness the Release of two Baby turtles who were found at the guesthouse at the nearby beach.

This guesthouse is a hidden gem in this region. You should definitely plan a stop here. Salem is the best example for Omani hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for better host. He went with us to beach during day time and night. Salem did the best to show us around and see as many sea creatures as possible. We learned so much about Salem and his culture. The dolphin and snorkelling tour in the morning is great and we enjoyed the family style dinner. From the bottom of our heart: Thank you Salem. You are always welcomed at our place as well!
only 10 mins walk from the pink beach. the guest house is sparkling clean and so nice. the patio gives off fresh beach house vibes. the best part of it has to be the host Ektheir. he’s such a nice young guy, we immediately became friends. he goes above and beyond for the guests. I totally recommend having dinner at the guest house, probably the best meal we had in Oman! they cooked for us fish and other delicious delicacies and they were all so tasty and fresh. would recommend with no doubts!!
Lovely gem of a place with happy, friendly and attentive host/staff. The rooms were clean, and the service was excellent. It is a very short drive down to the empty beach, or then about a 10 minute walk down the abandoned runway. They've kept a tent with a few games inside to keep you occupied, and a swing to enjoy outside in the sunshine. Easy to locate with the google maps location given by the host, which directs you to the exact blue and white standalone guest house. Highly recommend the place!
I visited this guesthouse for the second time! Great location if you have rented a car. The room has everything you need, clean, cozy and comfortable. The great advantage of the guesthouse is the opportunity to get meals and exciting excursions at affordable prices from the owner Salem. Excellent staff. Salem does everything to make guests feel free and pleasant.
