it felt like a home away from home. we didn't need to shop for little things like mustard or coffee and the house was warm and quiet. the host was lovely.

Our facilities catered to our every need and the beds were very comfortable with electric blankets supplied as well. Spa bath was a lovely bonus! Quiet scenic location only a few minutes from Waikanae township. We loved it so much that plans to return are under foot for Summer vacation.
Great location with lovely friendly hosts, room was perfect for the two of us and the breakfast was excellent and loved the small extra touches such as the stewed fruits. The underfloor heating was toastie and the venue is close to the beach.

Sunny Glen cottage is a clean, comfortable, and very quiet apartment, with access to a lovely walkable trail behind the property by the river. The private garden area is beautiful with many little birds flying around. The hosts are in the adjacent house and are very friendly and helpful. Waikanae is a lovely, quaint town.
