Location was perfect for us attending events in Lower Hutt. Reserved parking space was really handy. Lovely quiet bedroom and nice treats. Of course the cafetiere and coffee and a full litre of milk were very welcoming and the great lighting from the car park to the accomodation made finding the entrance very easy. Towels were nice and fluffy and the toiletries provided were extensive.

Matai Huka was lovely - out of town and a little tricky to find the way in through outbuildings, but once we got to our room, it was gorgeous - spacious and elegantly appointed, lovely view of open grounds. Make-it-yourself breakfast was provided in the kitchen area, with various options. Hostess very friendly and charming.

This is a nice, neat little home that is close to Wellington but off the main path just enough to be quiet and have a country feel. It's on a small farm so there are sheep, chickens, and the owner's dog running around.

The location. Private, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The hosts had thoughtfully lit the fire so the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. Helen greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and let us know about the walks nearby. We met Tony the next morning who was equally friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again. Everything was sparkling clean and beds were super comfortable with sunlit rooms.
Great communication from the host's. Clear instructions on how to get in. Easy access and parking. The room was nicely set up and is equipped with a small snack bar including a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as provided fruit, breakfast cereals, coffee and tea. The bathroom and shower were nice and clean. The water pressure is great and shampoo/body wash were provided. The WiFi is fast and easy to connect to.
The location is close to Upper Hutt City Centre with approximately 5 min drive time.
The property was situated in a quiet rural setting, the views were amazing, we had everything we needed to make our stay extremely enjoyable. The hosts were very friendly
