The location was in the amazing rural country, quiet and very close to both Cambridge and Hamilton. It also meant we could safely bike around the country roads and take in all the scenery. The Pool house is very spacious and decorated in a comfy style. The bathroom is super modern with a large perfect shower and also has a new washing machine, dryer, iron if needed. The king size bed was very comfortable and there is a wide screen TV in the lounge with Netflix. The magazines and candles makes a nice home away from home touch. There is a dining table just beside the generous kitchen, which has a full fridge/freezer, bench oven and lots of appliances. Everything was laid out well for easy use, so it would be ideal for staying longer than the 2 days we stayed.

Booked on very short notice. Address easy to find. Hosts flexible and very communicative. Exactly the sort of place we were looking for between Auckland and Rotorua. Comfortable beds. Super-clean and tidy. Fresh jumbo eggs and streaky bacon, bread, jams provided for breakfast. Delicious. The best part, though we only met for a few minutes as we departed ( we had arrived late after a flight ), was our host couple, Andrea and Bill. Couldn’t have been more lovely. They were so cheerful, friendly and welcoming.., genuinely interested in our travels and free with tips to make our NZ stay pleasant. Gifted us a rosemary sprig and lemon from their garden as antidote to the hideous air freshener which suffused our rental car. Outstanding folks.

Beautiful cottage, good for an overnight stay for a family of four. Gorgeous bathroom, and well appointed. The fresh bread, coffee, honey, jam and snacks were delicious! The owner was lovely and the property is beautiful and perfect location to town and Hobbiton.

Breakfast was provided, as were a range of teas, and coffee. Our hosts were so friendly, and really encouraging of us and our business. It was a quiet, relaxing, safe, and clean place for us to call home while we were in the area for work. It is located relatively centrally, and we found it easy to commute to and from Mystery Creek. Nothing was a problem, and we felt comfortable getting in touch with our hosts to ask questions. When you're busy, a comfy bed is a must, and this nailed it.

Everything about the place, Location, cleanliness, views, facilities, friendly hosts, comfortable furniture, an easy to relax in, easy access to the town centre of Cambridge, pleasant walks around the place.

Internal garage meant we could safely store our bikes. House is right on the trail, nice and quiet and plenty of room. Perfect location and friendly host.
We enjoyed our stay! the Guest house is spacious, warm and tidy with plenty of blankets for us all.
We had access to Netflix as well which was a huge bonus to help us unwind from a busy day. Arriving back to a full bucket of Feijoas was such a kind and thoughtful gesture from our hosts.
Lovely host, very clean, great location - close to Hamilton and state highway, also other tourist locations like Waitomo caves, Hobbiton etc. Quiet location, lots of space inside and outside. Wished we stayed longer so we could have had time for sauna on balcony and simply relax in the beautiful garden! Also Hamilton was much nicer than expected, so will definitely stay longer next time than just a stopover !!
