The place had a charming character to it. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The heaters were powerful enough to heat both ground and second floors (and the bathroom too), and there were enough towels and toiletries for our stay. The surroundings were quiet, and I could hear only the birds chirping in the morning. The staff were very helpful, even with my advance messages with them. There was a pool in the property but we did not dare take a swim in winter.

A charming and beautiful place equipped with the wonderful hosts Cliff and Gerry who make you welcome from the 1st minute. I had a wonderful time, appreciated the many tips both gave and the lovely chats. Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, wished I could have stayed longer.

Lovely property with some interesting history, Leon & Kinnie looked after us well and provided a great breakfast to start the day off. Our room was delightful and very comfortable. This is a great location for exploring the local area and quiet as well. We enjoyed chatting with our host's on the varanda in the evening. Thank you both for making us so welcome.
