We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Great BnB John and Diane.

The longer we stayed here the more we liked it! The location is wonderful - just a very short walk to downtown Russell with shops and restaurants. And what you get in exchange is an incredible view! Bed was the comfiest of our trip - cushy and soft but not saggy at all. Good a/c but nice to have the doors open in the daytime. Lots of good walks and we swam a few times at the beach that was 2 minutes away. Great stay!

Location is key here. Close to two beaches and two wonderful walking tracks as well. only 2 min by car to Russell Township itself and about an hour on foot (one can combine two lovely shaded walking tracks for that). Russell's Long Beach (another fab swimming beach) is only about 5 min by car. The room is spacious and has all the amenities one would need for a short or longer stay (sorry no kitchen but there are plenty of good restaurants in Russell). Tapeka is the quiet suburb of Russell and if one is lucky one can view kiwi if going out at night.
Paradise on The Strand enjoys a location in Russell, a 4-minute walk from Russell Museum and half a mile from Flagstaff Hill.

Stunning accommodation, exceptional breakfast and an amazing host . We went sailing yesterday and returned to a freshly baked loaf of bread . I wish we could have stayed longer.

I had made an error in the booking but our charming host, Mark was amazing and fitted us in, changing other pre- bookings to the Motel as we needed His kind attention was extraordinary. He even gave us a complimentary drink on arrival.

Beautiful surroundings comfortable cabin, great location close to town and walks. Also down the road 10 min away is a lovely historic area where there is a old stone store and a lovely restaurant the plough and feather highly recommend. Great hosts very friendly and accommodating with good knowledge of the area.

The location was exceptional, in the middle of an orchard but close to the township, surrounded by very friendly pet chooks and piggies and a lovely senior dog watching over them. Klaus is a great host, offered us fresh fruit from the orchard and made sure we were feeling comfortable, safe and looked after. Thank you!
Everything about Al Der Rocs B&B exceed our expectations. It was my parents first night in New Zealand (ever!) and this blew them out of the water. Our extra requests were accommodated with ease (having gf options for breakfast) & everyone thought it was superb. Very quiet, great location, stunning view, wonderful hosts.
