Everything. The cottage is enclosed with fences so great for dogs. Sarita and Rob are exceptional hosts who go the extra mile for their guests. The furnishings in the cottage are 'house and garden' and Sarita always leaves a little extra surprise for her guests. This time we each had a beautiful bookmark and some 'weka bar' treats. It was a perfect little home away from home. It was very warm, clean, had everything you could need and more! It was so cosy and I would absolutely stay here again anytime I’m in Christchurch. The owners even supplied us with milk, beautiful bread, butter and jams, and some wee snacks. It was very thoughtful and very much appreciated! Steve was our host. He was polite ,had a warm personality and very helpful as to what attractions to see and food outlets restaurants etc to be found locally.
The cottage was within walking distance to the city centre, and was quite a quiet location.The continental breakfast was just fine for our needs.
Steve even set breakfast out in our cottage for our early start the next day.
