The room is very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Caretaker Bikram and the host are very kind and helpful. It gets cold at night but they provided a standing heater. The bathroom is very small but clean. They will kindly store your bags if needed.

Comfortable twin room, small, but well planned, near Patan Museum and many temples. The breakfast is quite good, the host is very nice and wants to please. The price is very reasonable given the location. Hot water showers each morning is nice. Not always available in Nepal! View from the rooftop breakfast table is wonderful.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Absolutely brilliant bed and breakfast. Great location and really wonderful staff. We (three of us) were more than comfortable, with the staff offering thoughtful touches and friendly service. Great location and all the facilities you could need. Highly recommended!
Very unique and traditional hotel in a great location close to main Patan attractions like Durban square. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, truly created the atmosphere of home, and tried to help us with everything that they can. Breakfast was very tasty. We truly enjoyed our stay there very much!
I loved NextDoor Patan Hostel. I stayed here three separate times during my visit to Kathmandu. Its a lovely quiet hostel. The team are superb and so friendly. It feels like a home. The breakfast was always great and served with a smile and friendly chat. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The shower was always hot. The rooftop terrace was great. Cooking class to make momos was amazing. I would definitely stay again the next time I come to Kathmandu.
Lovely host, who looked after us, arranging taxis etc. House is full of character, with a very comfortable room and nice breakfast served on the roof top terrace. Quiet at night, and walking distance from Patan main sights.
Hira Guest House is an authentic 300-year old house maintained in beautiful condition. The doorway lintels are low as it was customary to bow when entering a room. It is not a western style hotel. The host, Yelos, is a warm and friendly man, who is happy to share his knowledge and love of Nepalese culture and customs. We enjoyed traditional cuisine and shared a meal with his family.
I loved how quiet, clean and authentic this lovely guest house was, perfect for my first stay in Patan. My room had clearly been recently refurbished so it felt extra comfortable. The bathroom was modern and spotless. It took a while to get used to the low ceilings - tall people beware! The property is very close to the main attractions in Patan - perfect for popping back for a rest during the day.
Beautiful traditional Newari house, friendly and helpful hosts, always with smile. Shila’s food was excellent. The house is in a prime location, 2 minutes away from Patan Durbar Square but quiet , easy to go anywhere. There are 2 beautiful temples in front of the house, I found a sacred feeling around the area. Nepali people say friendly monkeys come mean you have luck , so I got luck on the last day that 3 monkeys visited me !
Patan Ghar provided high quality toilet paper, it’s a bonus compared other places even hotels in Nepal.
Breakfast was simple and tasty. Location is splendid. At the heart of the old town but incredibly quiet, peaceful. This is a very special place to stay with so much history and charming hosts who will show you the secret ways around and share their local knowledge. Very helpful and so kind. Everything is possible.
