The accommodation was lovely, nicely located in the coast area of Ballstad. We really enjoyed the concept of this place, surrounded by boats, seagulls and an amazing view.
You can expect to share areas with other guests, but we didn’t have the chance. The property was very clean and warm, our room had a separate heater and we liked that everything was very well indicated and organized☺️

Spotless clean. Shared living with kitchen was a great plus. It allowed us to have dinner on a snowy evening, and saved having to dine out in the snowfall. Comfortable matresses with warm duvet !

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Angela. She showed us everything and explained everything. The location and the facilities in the room are really great. The only drawback is that the toilet is on the ground floor, so depending on the location of the room you have to climb a few stairs each time. This is particularly inconvenient for older people. Nevertheless, it gets full marks because everything else was perfect. p.s. Price-performance ratio was also top notch! Thank you very much!

- the apartment is even better than the pictures, the view is amazing, all fournitures are modern. We loved watching at the mountain on the other side of the harbour
- the host is helpful. He helped me on a topic not related to the flat, we really appreciated it
To sum up, we loved everything about this accomodation
Very lovely and quaint traditional-style cabin right near the water. The cabin was very clean (including the modern renovated bathroom) and had everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with the host as well as check-in and check-out were very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.
Gorgeous spacious apartment with fabulous view over the bay and mountains. Kitchen is well stocked for self catering though a few items missing. Huge bathroom with washing machine. Good internet. Great location from which to explore the Lofotens. Very responsive host.
Jostein’s accomodation fully exceeded our expectations. We instantly felt at home the moment we entered - everything was very well thought out, super clean and cosy. The location was great too!
Despite not being in a remote area we managed to see the northern lights from the backyard on two nights we were there! Thank you Jostein for an amazing stay and for being a great host!
This apartment is just amazing! We stayed for 9 nights; it was a perfect location to explore the Lofoten Islands. The view was breathtaking, the neighborhood was quiet, the apartment is very well-equipped, spacious, and clean. The host was so helpful! I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again.
