The host met us as we came in and showed us everything. Allowed us in early to leave our luggage. Very clean, in a nice quiet residential area, comfortable beds, everything worked, had a kettle, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge.

We had two rooms - the Vermeer on the ground floor and the Rembrandt on the second floor. The view of the canal is beautiful. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants and using the tram. A grocery store is close by - easily walkable. The rooms and bathrooms are large and well furnished. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Bathroom amenities are wonderful. There is a luggage rack in each room as well as robes, small refrigerator, dishes, silverware, Nespresso machine and kettle. The hosts are excellent at communication and extremely fast at responding to any problems/questions. We had a lovely stay.

Everything. Clean, not very big but well organized, very friendly owner very attentive to the needs of the guests. I arrived way earlier then the check-in time but she was very ready to accommodate, to make it possible for me to get in my room. There is little area where you can eat within the space of your room, shower is also there. If needed, an other bed is prepared which is in a little cabin within that space. Toilet is outside, access through common hall, but private. Simple breakfast was put in our room every time, in the meantime room was ordered. We could use the bicycles for free and received also raincoat for it. Last day she brought us by car where we needed to go for it was raining. I shared the room with one friend and it was perfect for us. There is heating that you can turn on according to your needs and also aid conditioning if needed in the summer.

I love the fact that it's a kilometer away from the busy touristic area. The place was well maintained. The owner, Arnold accepted us warmly that we immediately felt at home. It felt very comfortable having all the small details that counted. I loved the studio tour. It was a pleasure meeting a famous person who was very modest and down to earth like him. The breakfast was fantastic! I wish we had more time to spare.

The location was perfect. It was nice and quiet even though the property was a few minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Easy access to the supermarket and bus routes into Amsterdam. The car park was close by, free to use and easy to park. The hosts were welcoming and informative and even left us a beautiful cake to enjoy on our arrival. We stayed as a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for us all. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Nice quiet rooms close to all of the lake side restaurants. The option to purchase drinks and snacks was a great idea.
Our host Vincent was very accommodating. The local shops and restaurants were great with excellent customer service. Volendam exceeded my expectations as we had been on a bus tour, and it didn't do the town justice.
It was really close from the see. The neighborhood was quite and friendly. The room is divided in two, one side with two beds and the other one with a single bed, so it gives privacy to the third guest. The bathroom and shower was great. And the host was also great. I highly recommend this place, even tho it's 30min from the city center but it totally worth it.
