Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
It was clean and adequate. New shower room. The location is gorgeous, it is very very quiet in the night. The road in front of the property is very very busy, but in the accommodation we didn't hear anything after about nine. That is very unusual. We love the feeling of just being near trees and for us it was very nice that not a lot people were present at the night we were there.
This small guest house in the Dutch countryside near Selingen was perfect for us as we visited family who had recently purchased a home in the area. Keys were in the door and my name was on a welcome board in the driveway and a smaller welcome board in the front window of the unit. Only met the owner briefly once, but she was very nice and helpful.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
