I had an excellent stay at this apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early after a long flight, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the room was fantastic, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to both the city and the beach. There's also convenient car parking right in front of the complex. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return!

i rarely give the highest rating but i got the type of living i try to experience when i travel. House is old but nice, well maintained. Had an older style kitchen in it. Has one of those old keepstays in it (places like a closet where the past Dutch used to sleep). Wooden plank floors. It's part of a larger house but felt like a cabin. The owner went out of his way to help you.

Nice one room apartment with good facilities. One of the best beds in a hotel/apartment I have slept in. Very good location in central Heerenveen, but quiet enough even though I stayed there during King's day with party street not far away.
The size of the room and shape worked perfectly for our family. The hotel is set in the middle of nature but there is still a bus that takes you to the city centre. The beach at the lake (Heidemeer) was do-able on foot, so we spent a nice afternoon there too.
