Located on the northern edge of Den Burg, close to scenic farmlands, this place offers beautiful views just a two-minute walk away. The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, providing tools to help us fix a broken bicycle.
The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, featuring large bathrooms stocked with all the essentials. Each room is well-equipped with comfortable beds, a table, a couch, a coffee machine, a kettle, a mini fridge, and more—everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
To top it off, my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the extensive collection of photography books available in the room.

A quiet place in the open countryside. Great breakfasts finely served and left each morning discreetly at the room door. Privacy - one doesn't hear the neighbours even if they are surely at home. A lot of light in the room (one can use curtains of course) and a wonderful exit from the room directly onto the lawn in front of the house where one can sit in a chair and enjoy the sun. Friendly and helfpul hosts. Great bathroom fittings. The room is a simple but stylish design and had everything we needed during our stay. The bed is big and comfortable. Cleanliness. A dedicated room for bicycles in the house.

I really wanted to give a 9.5. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The room was well provided with storage for a longer stay and the bed was very comfortable. The location, despite being at the bottom end of one of the main shopping streets was very quiet. We were made aware of the shared bathroom before our visit and it was a large, well provisioned space.

Very quiet and comfortable place. Kitchen facilities are provided and there is a large and welcoming dining room. Modern, clean and spacious room. Interesting feature is the swimming pond. the hotel's environmental credentials are also a plus. Good breakfast, with fresh fruit and enough to keep you going for a while.
The 'Just Texel Suite' (the one with sauna) is spacious and exquisitely beautiful, in the style of minimalist Danish design. It features a large, comfortable bed in the bedroom. The large bathroom impresses with its shower, sauna, bath, and high-quality bathing products. This quiet location is conveniently situated in the heart of Den Burg, a charming small city/village. Restaurants are just a short walk away. An ideal base for biking across Texel Island. Highly recommended !
The hosts are so lovely, welcoming and hospitable. We had such a great time, the space was beautiful and cozy with everything we needed. The locations was lovely and quiet and close enough to town for a couple without a car. The bikes were great and are a wonderful way to explore Texel!
Great Host & Convenient location. Well thoughout for kids playarea in attic and some cakes & Juice as compliments. Kids beach toys were stocked. Host stays below and it was pleasant stay
The location is amazing, you can reach Den Burg and most beaches in 15-20min by bike. We had an overnight stay so that’s all we had time to see anyways and it was lovely! The caravan is clean and cozy with a nice garden. The bathroom was good beyond expectations for a caravan. Lisende is a great host!
Very cosy and light, central and quiet, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Recommended for both shorter and longer stays. Super friendly and welcome host, delicious first day welcome breakfast, quality coffee and organic tea, a real treat!
It is a fun apartment with parts to explore. it is a great option for a family or larger group as there are a variety of places to sleep. it’s a great location in Den Burg, central and quiet. We would gladly stay here again.
Great location, quiet street even when in the middle of town, spacious rooms with beautiful furniture, comfy bed, lets of extra pillows and towels, and a good temperature on a hot day. Lovely people, and a really unique experience overall.
