Quiet paradise with wonderful hosts. Secure parking for our van inside the gated driveway. We relaxed and swam and they did our laundry and fed us. Their two dogs, Ourval and Yoda, and cat kept our kids entertained. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful and they baked bread and squeezed fresh juices for us. Worth finding this place and staying here. Thanks.

I liked it so much, that I decided to stay at this beautiful hostel for the entire duration of my trip, to use it as my home-base. The traditional historic architecture, rattan furniture, decoration, interior garden, backyard with avocado tree, wild hummingbirds and other birds that visited multiple times, every day, made it a dream come true and transported me to my childhood in Nicaragua during the 70s.
The atmosphere is so peaceful and rejuvenating that I would love to live here. I would definitely come back every time I'm in Nicaragua. The prices are very reasonable. The traditional homemade breakfast is delicious (best scrambled eggs I've had in a long time, with Gallo pinto/rice mixed with beans)and even the homemade pancakes cooked with vanilla and cinnamon are great.
The owner, Carlos, his sister (an amazing artist 🎨. Her paintings are all over the house) and their sweet mother live on site with their cute dog. They're all very welcoming and pleasant, always willing to assist. The staff, Dolores (in charge of the delicious breakfast) and Jennifer (front desk and house keeping) are very kind too. They all work very hard to make sure we enjoy our stay. They treated us like family. Please be generous with your gratuities because they deserve that and much more.
I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Maybe it would be nice to have other options for breakfast, for those staying longer than 4 days, but I can always eat outside, or skip breakfast. The food is so affordable in many places near here, that it's easy to find options. Also, Carlos plans to eventually hopefully have a full service traditional Nicaraguan kitchen for guests, so I'm looking forward to eating many more meals here, next time I'm in Granada.
Thanks again to all of you for this experience.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The breakfast was great ad served with a smile. We thought the staff were really friendly and helpful and tolerated our sometimes noisy kids well. We felt very welcome there. The hostel was very clean, comfortable and inviting to relax in. It was surprisingly quiet given its very central location.
Nice hostel in a more quiet part of Granada while still being close to the city center. The owners were incredibly helpful and recently started this place. They drove us all the way to Popoyo to help us out and were very friendly! Above and beyond. Would recommend staying there! Breakfast was also nice!
Very helpfull and friendly staff, Spanish & English speaking, great location close to the city centre, clean and quiet place with delicous breakfast and chilling vibe. List of tours available at the reception.
Really nice hostel with lots of nice chilling areas and a kitchen to use. The staff there are lovely and helpful and they run different social events through the week. Great location and it’s nice that it’s quieter after 10. The maracuya caipirinha was delicious
This was the perfect way to end our trip through Central America. It’s a really charming boutique hotel with a lovely courtyard that gives the feeling of staying in your private villa / little oasis in the middle of Granada, for a very reasonable price. The superior King room was superb, with a lovely pool right in front of the room. The AC worked well and it was quiet, so we slept well. And all the staff were wonderful.
Amazing beautiful well organized and clean place. super comfortable and also enough space to isolate yourself and take a rest. No noise at night and the rooms are very quiet too, even though we were right above the pool, did not wake up once or feel annoyed at all. really great hostel!
Sociable hostel (events advertised for evenings), lovely social space with hammocks, chairs and tables, great location next to city centre and very close to bus terminals
I really liked this place. It’s perfect if you want a quiet place to relax and just chill in one of the many hammocks. I booked my activities at the hostel, and everything was well-run. The staff is helpful and I liked that they offered the little city tour by car. Great location and comfortable bed.
