Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The host was amazing. He made sure we took the right bus and he took us to the city center to get cash. Could not wish for a better welcome to Mozambique. Thanks a lot.
The owner is lovely, speaks perfect english (as do most staff) and very thoughtful host. The room was very clean and everything worked (AC, hot water, shower). The neighbourhood is nice, sort of middle income local. There are good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was good and ready promptly. Parking and compound were secure. Highly recommend as it is excellent value for money.
Very spacious apartment with fast WiFi. There’s no sign for the guesthouse on the street, so it’s good to be in contact with the host. The host is very responsive and helped us arrange a taxi to get to the bus company the next very early morning.
We had a super pleasant stay. The accommodation had everything you needed, the food was great, the rooms were clean and the showers were nice and warm. We actually only wanted to stay one night, but since the hosts welcomed us so warmly and we had many interesting conversations with them, we spontaneously extended our stay. We recommend everyone to stop here.
The guesthouse is in an excellent location, has free WiFi, an office chair and desk to work at in the main bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, full-size fridge-freezer unit), is cleaned every day and there is cable TV (including BBC news and Euronews). It’s perfect if you are travelling for work.
This TD Guesthouse Lite is a treasure. Instead of a hotel room, you stay in an entire bungalow - fully equipped kitchen, separate large living room, walk in closet, and great bedroom with a workstation desk.
