We were allocated room on third floor, no lift and can be difficult to lug luggage up three floors. Room is spacious with windows and great natural light. We paid for 2 queen-size beds, hence comfortable. Good Wifi, no TV though.
Within 10-15 minutes' walking distance to restaurant/shops but steep downward slope so not easy to walk up and down. Grab service is available but subject to peak/non-peak hours.

Really nice and clean hostel nearby the river. We appreciated Staying here with the farmers as neighbours instead of sleeping in those huge and ugly hotels for tourists.
Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. No loud noises, just the sound of the river.
We recommend coming here with your own rented car to Explore the highlands, here you get your private parking.

Everything was perfect, Bryan is a fantastic host and his apartment has been our favourite stay in Malaysia! We were very comfortable at Wogoxette Upstairs, it’s designed really well and the location gives you a good flavour of local life and culture in Kuala Terla. Quiet, central location. Its calm as its a guest house and not a hostel. The dorm was spacious. It was very clean. Staff were kind and helpful and the general deco and athmosphere of the place was friendly.

Excellent knowledgeable friendly helpful staff. Great to be able to book Excellent value for money day tours through the guest house. They take a 100 ringet deposit when you arrive but no need to worry about this. I accidentally broke something in the room and still got all my deposit back. Extremely clean great location and outstanding value for money. Walking distance from the bus station. They will also book you a cheap taxi should you need one. Highly recommend staying here.
Nice, quiet place, with all everything you need for your exploration of the highlands. Loved the fact that the hostel provided tours and information about hikes in the area. You will be sharing the apartment with others, so there's good opportunity to meet people and head out together. City centre is about a 5 minute walk away.
Norman was a great host, very friendly and provided plenty of information about the area. The guesthouse had everything I need and Norman even provides a simple breakfast in the mornings.
The location of the guesthouse was great in the main village close to restaurants and cafes etc. It is relatively quiet in the area.
The communal areas of the guesthouse were nice although a bit outdated, there were two sitting rooms with sofas, a dining table, lots of outdoor seating. It had a quaint rustic feel which fits in with the area.
The staff were friendly and polite and offered local advice and scooter hire.
Norman was a Great host! He showed us around the guesthouse and helped us with food recommendations in Tanah Rata. Good and cheap accommodation :) Thank you!
