We had an amazing time at the Langkawi Country Lodge! Everyone there is so sweet, helpful and friendly, and they made us feel right at home.
Mama Yati and Papa Mas are the best hosts! They picked us up from the airport when we arrived and dropped us off when we left. They helped us book tours and gave us tips for the best places to see or the best food to try. We tried some really tasty food thanks to them! And the best thing of all, on our last day, when I was sad that I had not gotten to do batik painting, which I had really wanted to do, they surprised me with a canvas and a set of paints, and Mama Yati even taught me the best technique to work with. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me so happy. They are such sweet and caring people and they always try to make everyone's stay memorable.
The staff that works there is also really lovely, friendly and smiling and helpful whenever we needed something. We really enjoyed hanging out and chatting with Ali and Hiro (I hope I'm spelling their names correctly, if not, I apologise).
As for the location, it is so cute and inviting, very clean and it has all the needed amenities. The room had both an AC and a fan. We also enjoyed the beautiful trees that were planted around and attracted so many birds and squirrels. An added bonus were the cute kittens that we played with constantly. It is also very close to the beach, only 5 minutes away. And there are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
This has been, by far, one of the best experiences that I've had while travelling abroad, and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone else who wants to stay in Langkawi to go to the Country Lodge. It will surely be a memorable stay for you as well.

I liked the pool, it's enclosed. The house was great, staff was amazing and responsive. I LOVE that they left so many chocolates, cookies, water and different drinks in the fridge, our stay was just prefect.

Everything was absolutely perfect, Nanda and Kashif are great hosts, they have the right answers for every question. The bed is very comfortable with your own private cubicles that feel like a small private room. The location is very quiet and very close to the beach. Free hot and cold water. Cooking facilities as well if you want to cook to your own taste , everything is provided.
10/10 - We could not have a better stay!!
Location is great, close to beach, restaurants and everything you need - but still quiet. The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped.
Nanda is a great host and an even better guy!! He provided us with lots of tips for restaurants, tours etc. and we rented our scooter here. Also just a 15min drive from the airport. We extended our stay and will definately come back!! Thanks a lot :)
Great location! Peace and quiet. Surrounding nature is amazing! We suggest you rent a scooter-island is beautiful and you can explore it freely. Drivers are very careful and you are safe everywhere.

- calm place with a great host! just do not expect 5* international hotel, this is a private property in the middle of other private houses, there is poultry, dogs, frogs, cats, insects in the neighborhood but nothing to be worry about

we enjoyed Langkawi a lot! recommend 7 wells walk to the top + mangrove tour... these were the best trips!
Great location; relatively quiet and just off the main 'tourist-strip'. There are several restaurants and a laundry fairly close. It's about a 5 minute walk to a 'Supermarket' for snacks, water, and cheap cold beer. Also its about a 7 minute walk to the beach where you can eat and/or rent a motorbike quite cheaply. The walk to the beach is quite nice and is shaded by trees for the most part.
What a fab hostel! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The cleanest hostel we've ever stayed at and everyone was very respectful. Great common area to meet other travellers and a good setup for those wanting to work remotely. Great location - the night market is a must and the restaurant under the café was amazing for a cheap breakfast!

Great location at a quiet part of town. Easy access to beach. Rented scooters on site to get around the island. Great host in reception and friendly staff around the site.
Wan was a great host and helped us with anything we asked, providing tips, places to go or arranging anything. The location was good and away from Main Street but that means quiet nights.
it’s also close by from night market (one of the nights) so you can go there to grab a cheap
and tasty meal.
We stayed at the cottage for the night before leaving and was great.
The property is also next to another guest house that means good vibes and fun nights if you like to share adventures with other people.
Note: The kittens are lovely.
The bed and breakfast was very lovely, set in a quaint and quiet location within Kg Padang Putih, yet close to all the conveniences. Kak Maz was a very generous, kind, friendly and wonderful host, and was always at hand to answer any questions. Her breakfast was delicious. Recommended if you're looking for somewhere non-touristy, and in a kampung setting.
