The room is really spacious and clean, really comfortable. The volunteers make this place unique by creating a really social vibe (except for Matt the pervert, see what I didn't like about the hostel)

Location of the hotel was exceptional. The facilities of the hotel was excellent. There is a night food market just a 3 min walk from the hotel.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Uncle Kee is a great host and the apartment is comfortable and good value for money in a great location close to restaurants, local shops and all the attractions in Melaka's historic centre. We were also very grateful to Uncle Kee for all his recommendations, including the weekly fruit market, the Portuguese settlement and the straits mosque. His food recommendations were all excellent.
The host responded to our messages and turned up on time to give us access. Allowed us a late check out to 1pm because our next flight was late. Good units with TV and hair dryer. Great location. Would highly recommend. Quiet. Nice pool but very busy.
My husband and I have been to many guesthouses around the world, but this one is definitely at the top of our list. Our hosts are such lovely people, Maria's banana cake and biscuits are world champions, but most importantly we felt at home from the first moment we arrived. The guest house is very well located, 5 minutes from the centre, 1-1 minutes from supermarkets, local market and eateries (authentic Indian, Chinese, Malay restaurants). We had a great time and thank you for everything.
Very clean hostel. I like the dorm with the capsules with curtains. There is also a common area and a kitchen. Walkable to the city centre. Right around the corner there is a cheap and good Indian restaurant.
Wonderful guesthouse in an excellent location, close to the main turistic sites in Melaka. Clean and quiet to allow you rest very well. Kindest hosts, with tons of advices, suggestions and tricks to enjoy your stay in the city to the maximum. If you still have some time left you can spend some time chatting or reading in the big living room of the guest house.
A real guesthouse feeling with cosy rooms and a common place to relax, talk. The host Willy is very welcoming and makes you feel at home.
Close to the city center (only 10min walk) and quiet at night. Big plus are the nice eating options in the area both for breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely time and will definitely return if in Melakka again.
All good. No windows, so it's a quiet peaceful room in a clean and tidy guesthouse in a great location close to the heart of Malacca. Jo is a friendly and helpful host and tea/coffee/toast is there for breakfast if you want it.
It's a self check in and a very easy one. The host really helpful because I checked in a bit late at night and didn't found the guesthouse. The room looks classic and traditional - I love it. The room also huge. There's a nice breakfast shop near guest house Sayyid Antique & Cafe 1 min walking distance. It's cheap and delicious too. Jonker street also near, can just walk around to main attractions.
