The hosts and staff are wonderful! I was greeted upon entry at my own pace, and had a decent sized room to get comfortable in. The bathrooms were pleasantly tidy and clean, with encouragement to not waste heating or light by turning off all switches when not in use. I was helpfully sent an idealised 2 day itinerary as i a only in Penang for a short while, which was helpful to see what a true Georgetown resident would appreciate in the city. I was then sent a link to a creatives origami workshop at the Jetty’s which was a lovely thing to do on my last day and feel really present in the space rather than bumbling as a tourist. Such a gorgeous city to just walk around in and appreciate, so it helps that Aayu is so wonderfully located. For all the major tourist and connection spots, I didn’t have to walk more than 20min to get there and back. So so brilliantly positioned. And next to a great restaurant Hwa Ting next door.

Perfect location in China Town. Safe place: electronic card, locks. Nice, smallish bathroom with excellent shower. OK aircon. Wifi signal strength/speed? From very bad to good. Room had a window with no real view but could be opened for fresh air. Friendly Reception.

The house is very clean and comfortable. It is recommended for those travel with group because they have 4 rooms and 3 toilets. The host is very friendly and helpful. 100% recommended
Location of the hotel is strategic at the centre of Pekan, Kulim. Easy to go everywhere I want. Available carpark in front of the hotel or the back of the building. Price also cheap.
Owner was kind enough to assist my parents find the homestay. Parking was not a problem, and room was easily accessible as it is on the ground floor. Room was clean, prayer mat was provided and enough space to accommodate one person to pray. Very quiet area
