I had THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the classic malay house!
First, the hotel contacted me to change my room and didn’t reply my question till I asked again after two days.
I selected to arrive after 12 when I made the reservation and the hotel didn’t have a problem at that point. When I messaged the hotel when I arrived around 12:30, they didn’t respond again and didn’t pick up my call neither. The door was locked when I arrived the hotel. I tried to knock the door and call the hotel and booking. No one showed up to help. I waited for around one hour. I was homeless at 2 am in a strange country. I was exhausted after the flight and I had to pay 500 to find another accommodation.
The next day, the only thing I could do is ask for a refund since I never checked in. Again no response at all for 4 days. The host is VERY RUDE! You could at least say sorry we can’t refund or try to communicate. I have never had this kind of experience in any country.
The place looks great from the pictures but I absolutely not recommend it after this terrible experience. Not happy with Booking neither!

I arrived late passed the checkin time, so they arranged a self checkin instruction wich was very straight forward and easy to follow.

Would recommend comfy- concept if planning to stay in KL. We stayed 3 nights.
The Room was excellent, large and airy. It was exceptionally quiet. The hotel was close to the city centre and there was no issue getting a taxi outside if you needed one.
Concierge in the lobby was really helpful
Host was always there to answer a question about the room.

Upon arrival, I couldn't have reached my host, no whatsapp, calls, a message on Booking helped. I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes which is not optimal after coming tired from the airport.
It needs some renovations, but overall was a fine place.
The mattress was very soft for my linking.
At the last day, the host kept my baggage for a day and I easily picked it up in the evening.
Really great location to spend time in KL. The host is really nice and helpful, the room is perfect, the bed is comfortable and the WiFi is very good.
The commun area are really clean and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking (free the and coffee).
Really comfortable for walking to Petronas Tower and took a metro for old city centre.
