I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It’s truly the best place to be if you want to explore the nearby attractions with ease. Being within walking distance from the beach was a huge plus, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful shoreline without any hassle. Despite being so close to all the action, the hotel maintains a calm and peaceful ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Tanabendang Banglos with our family. The traditional architecture and peaceful surroundings made for a perfect retreat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming.
A special mention goes to the adorable cats on the property—they were a delightful surprise and added so much charm to our stay. Our kids loved them!
One suggestion: it would be helpful if the location were added to Google Maps and Waze for easier navigation. It would make finding this hidden gem even more convenient for future guests.
Overall, Tanabendang Banglos is a gem in Langkawi, perfect for families seeking a cozy, relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!

The bed was comfortable. There is a big rooftop where you can sit in the shadow. They offered free tea and coffee. The staff was friendly and if we needed something they helped really fast.

The room was very nice and spacious, with both air-con and an over-head fan! The bed was also very comfy! All the staff were lovely and friendly, and the reception area was social with lots of tables and chill music vibes! The free drinking water was also a great bonus! The location was ideal, lots of restaurants/shops, super near to the beach and scooter/moped rentals nearby to access the whole island easily for a very good prices… or alternatively taxis were easy to get. Another great bonus was all the friendly cats roaming around - there are LOADS and they are all so cute! I would 100% recommend this hostel to others and will definitely return if i ever find myself in Langkawi again! Thank you Gecko Guesthouse :)

It was indeed a beautiful villa with picturesque views of the paddy fields - appreciate the effort that goes behind building this villa which truly embraces craftsmanship and art! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful in attending to our needs & concerns.
Very friendly and obliging staff that addressed any issues quickly and professionally. The grounds and rooms are lovely and breakfast was very good! If you are not interested in the beach scene and would rather be a bit quieter, this is a good spot.

We just stayed for one night and Andy and Sabine were great hosts! They even picked us up from the airport which is a bonus!

We got picked up and dropped at the airport. In between we had a fantastic stay. Delicious breakfast, nice tips for exploring the island and a cheap scooter for rent directly from the owners. A nice quiet place for relaxing. Very close to the airport and the host prepare a wonderful breakfast with homemade fruit jams and bread. Marvellous! Will definitely come and stay here again. Sabina & Andy, thank you, we had a wonderful time.
The place is quiet and clean. This will be the place if you are looking for a quiet and greenery place. it is suitable for families travelling with young kids. Breakfast is limited choice but the taste is great and more like home-cooked style.
The host is kind and friendly and easy to communicate with.
