A beautiful guest house, with character and colour and cats! I loved staying here, and being in the heart of the town. The guest house feels very comfortable and easy, and provides everything necessary.

Clean and really well located. We received the self check-in details the evening prior through WhatsApp and on the arrival day we received a message telling us our room was ready for an early check-in.
The room itself is sufficient for 2 people and clean. We appreciated that the hotel provided a water filtering machine and toiletries.
They also provided us with recommendations on where to eat and a detailed plan for 2 days.

The room is spacious, with private bathroom, the facilities are basic but everything just nice: all you need are there. Breads provided in the pantry are nice, we love the coffee flavour one. It is quite self-service based but everything is easy to use, staff also very responsive through WhatsApp. Location is great, walkable to the center. Very quiet at night. Very recommend to young people and friends (but might not be suitable for family with kids).

Dou Houz is in an absolute amazing location. Close to supermarket, restaurants, the Hin Bus Depot, Cat free bus and walking distance to main attractions in Georgetown.
But what makes this place magical is Fuan, who looks after the hotel/hostel. He is the soul of this place and we loved meeting him.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely guesthouse in a strategic location. It's within walking distance to the main attractions of Georgetown but still quiet at night.

The air conditioning worked well. The room was secure. It was quiet at night time. I wanted basic comfortable and clean and this hostel fulfilled that brief.

This boutique hotel boasts a terrific location (at the very quiet end of a very busy street, so steps away from the action). There are only four rooms in total so everything feels very cosy. Jane and Ryan are excellent hosts, going the extra mile to make their guests feel right at home. The local breakfast offered is absolutely delicious.
Great hostel in the midst of town. Rather quiet compared to others. Lovely staff! Talkative if you want, private if needed. They give a lot of tips in and outside Georgetown and help with anything when asked. The whole place is rather large and relaxed. Would recommend!

We loved our stay here. Great location, quiet but also in the centre of things. The guest house is charming and characterful. The room was pretty small but beautiful, with everything we needed. Staff were so friendly and attentive. We were given a very useful map with things to see and places to eat. We were also brought tea and fresh pastries in the afternoon, this was a lovely bonus!
i loved everything, the owner was the sweetest person he even got me a couple of vegetarian puffs to try and they were amazing! is a great location with the city centre (Chulia street love lane etc.) on walking distance! the hostel is extremely cheap and they have a lovely common area (lounge with little kitchen)
