Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This is a big hotel but we had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The location is ideal, right near the main plaza but not close enough to be crowded or noisy. Our room was big and very clean. There is an elevator, a gym, and a lovely terrace in the top floor.
The shared spaces were very charming and the staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The bar was very inviting.
Staff were very responsive to our requests.
Automatic check-in was very uncomplicated with a code. Still, the communication with the host via WhatsApp was very friendly, helpful and quick. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. The neighbourhood seemed safe.
It is a lovely space that is set up with a lot of care. It’s very comfortable with a shared lounge room and kitchen. It’s clean, the best we have seen in this price category. At the time we were the only guests so it felt like we had a whole appartments. It’s very secure. The host is very helpful and gave us good information and addressed any issues we had promptly.
A good central location with a comfortable bed that's quiet at night, plenty of space, hot water, strong WiFi, and a kitchen for if you're staying longer than a few days. Also, while I never met the host/owner they were great about responding to messages and gave good advice for how to use public transport to get out to the Reserva de la Biósfera Unesco site, which was highly impressive and very much worth the stop.
Friendly staff who helped us park.
Great location right on the square. Make sure you get a room near the back of the hotel as the pub next door is so loud we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night.
