The place is calm and clean and the family who owns the house is really welcoming and kind.
It is an ideal place if you want to relax and feel like home. It is central between chacultepec Avenue and the center and they are enty of busses at the corner of the street and j the street around. So if you look for a place where to feel like home, where it is quiet and caring people, it is the place.
Also Anna is a good cook so of you stay a bit, you could ask her to make you some food (her other business).

Casa Matia was the perfect place to spend our week in Guadalajara. The owner, Fer, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped and organized and the common areas were kept very clean. The location is very walkable. The hostel is pet friendly and provides water as well! Good location in a residential area. Ave Chapultepec is 5 mins walk away with lots of bars, restaurants and banks. I walked to the Cathedral in 35 mins. I did their Tequila tour which I enjoyed.

Beautiful accommodation, quiet and clean. There is a common terrace and kitchen to prepare food with a fridge and all needed utensils (microwave, pans, etc). The area is safe and very close to the center. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will gladly come again!

Villa Escondida is absolutely wonderful. It is in a great location on the main street but is a quiet, beautiful oasis with beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, a stunning garden and pool and lovely owners. Highly recommend!!
Great location! Easy walking distance to many things. It was nice to have the patio off of the living room to hangout outside since the roof pool area is shared. Host is immediately responsive. Would book again!

I loved it here!! It was so luxurious!! Huge room, comfortable king size bed, huge TV with satellite channels, good air con, nice bathroom, quiet and clean, a lovely restaurant downstairs with nice cheap prices. Great location, nice staff. Great location, close to the best nightlife spots in Guadalajara but still in a quiet street. The atmosphere and activities (Pubcrawl etc.) in the hostel are always great (have been there twice). The hostel itself is located well but there are big differences between the rooms: The dormitories are quit small and a bit dirty, the private rooms are on a very good level, clean and in a good size. Finally it's a pretty good city hostel with a very good vibe.
